Honk!

Auntie Lynnie and her teaching partner Theresa have been working their socks off since Christmas on their high school show called Honk! Sav had been to a day's rehearsal and we took her to see a  matinee last week which she loved.  She was naughty for the girls who kindly watched over her and very shy when seeing them again at the show (see pic).  All quite exciting and new for Sav.

The show was fantastic and all the cast so inspiring. It has been good chatting with Sav about Honk's ugly duckling story line.  And good confirming for the 5 year old sat on my other side that the ducks on stage were in fact people playing ducks, and not actual ducks.  (The costumes were THAT good!)

Nana celebrated the show's wrap up by nana-sitting a 5 and 2 year old (thanks Nana).  Lynnie, MegaDob and I celebrated with cocktails and dinner at Joe Fortes with the added benefit of a voucher donated to us by the generous DrB-H.  Excellent.
