Driving Miss Daisy

Daisy, born in 1978, is a beautiful beast. She kept us dry during monsoon rains and got us from A to B in pure style. Driving Lilly now that I am back in Vancouver takes about 10% of the brain power...

The Lake District. It is so beautiful. Magical, even.

Bread on a stick. Of course.

 Mac Ride. Of course.
Hot rocks from the fire, into the sleeping bags at night, of course.
And daily adventures from our site in Glenridding, with Team Tipping.
 Oh dear.

Some sticks are for walking. Some are for burning. Others, are for weapons. Do not mix up the piles. Mac knows each stick and will draw from the weapon pile if you make an error. Be warned!
Cards and mucking about at the site.

Auntie Andrea and I arranged a low flying helicopter and two ospreys on our river walk for Glen's birthday.

Mac ran wild the entire time.
Not a bad nook for dodging wind!?
More pics when the rest of the team is back from the UK. We need pictures of the farm, and more of Nonno!
I miss you Glen, Savvy and Mac!

To the Party. Great Grandma is 100!!!

(Well, she will be shortly)
A wee stop in Glasgow on our way to Kendal, picking up Daisy in Keswick, then off to Warrington we went.

Great Grandma is indeed looking great. She's explained she is tired a lot and feels she's losing her memory -- who is who and what is what. But on the day, she seemed very sharp and it was lovely to chat with her.
It was a wonderful gathering with plenty of cousin-love!

A family adventure to Strathyre (and back)

Yes, the sun was out in full force. We had Mac Ride on the go, X2, and the magnificent M tandem too. What a great day.
All aboard!!!
A wee dip in Loch Lubnaig with a scrummy pic-nic
Team M! Loch-side, post prawns and beers
The trail is beautiful from start to fnish
Still enough energy for a play at the park at the finish, plus burgers and a hot tub!
Stay tuned for the video of this adventure. It's going to be a good one!

Back in Bridge of Allan

There were dinners out, family meals, pizza parties, camping under the stars, crazy riding in hurling rain, a few beverages, trampolining, and swimming.
Awesome.
Felt like we had never left!
 Garden party chez Tim
 Marshmallows included
 Oh, the Shire
Oh....the Dab. It's the peace sign equivalent for 2016
Wallace monument fun with Team Smith and Team Watson

Heading out for a Corrieri classic
And finishing pizza/pasta with a trip to the park
The usual wee loch cockburn loop
The old gang at the old farm
Some of the amazing crew from Scottish Swimming
