"Forty, I Laugh in Your Face!" -- Glen Dobson, August 27th, 2015 (a quote in pictures)

Getting away, really away, that was what Glen wanted for his fortieth, and that's what we did. We managed some camping brownies, sparklers, and a bit of whiskey, but the real celebration was the beautiful scenery, weather, company and adventure.
You've still got it, MegaDob. Happy Birthday-- we love you!!!

Take THAT 40!!!

Roberts Creek, Sunshine Coast, August 2015-- The Water Fight

They huffed and they puffed and they made us each oodles of balloons.

We were all set for a fair fight. And then Dob PELTED his beautiful wife at point blank.

The Putin of water balloon fighting then picked on the four year old. Check out the above closely and you will see why Putin had to reach out seconds later for a cuddle. "If you don't throw them hard, they don't burst."

 No child was left unharmed.
Proof of the carnage

Roberts Creek, Sunshine Coast, August 2015-- The Forest & Biking

The forest adventures begin! (let it be known, Nana was with us for two of our three hikes....on the last one, she needed to work out a knot in her back, so the rest of us crammed into Lilly Optimus Prime Roberts for a short journey to Cliff Gilker Park (as in, a five minute drive...we should have walked!!!). These are pics from Cliff Gilker:
 Wild style. Who needs bridges!?

Finishing up with a swing, a slide, and a little tag (with Dob pelting the kids with arrows).

Hidden Grove. A magical place introduced to us first by Auntie Sha Sha. The pics can't capture the green of the moss and the sweetness of the trails.

 The tree be big.

Smugglers Cove-- through the marches and to the sea where the quiet cove was good for trafficking all sorts.
Got to get passed the beavers first.

The biking at Sprockids. No journey is as hilarious as when there is a spider crawling around in the back row of a minivan!

Reika LOVES Mac Ride.

The beautiful forest right from our deck, sea in the background, and swings and slide working down the hill. Thank you Team Frame, for sharing your amazing home in paradise!
