Christmas Nintendo Switch
Continues to be the hit gift. Multigenerational gaming.
Gatorade and potato chips outside with one of his cohort besties. This is as wild as it gets for Covid birthday parties.
Snow Cave
We built this beautiful cabin and then kicked the boys out, including Rocket. The three of them slept in their snow cave. They raved about how warm it was and came in later the next morning, happy chappies.
Snowy Heaven - Shoveling Hell!
Well, the shoveling was certainly a good work out, and we managed to get the car out of the drive, having parked up high the night before the snow came. But we all had sore bodies for the days that followed.

Birthday Hike - Solo
I LOVE my family, but I also love a good solo hike. Nothing to get the adrenaline pumping when it's just you and the wild forest. And your baby dog who hides behind you when things get tense.
This was one day before the snow! Loamy loveliness.
