True Spirit of Christmas

Lovely tree this year, from the Lake.
Same tree, but with a full moon in the background!
But the true spirit of Christmas has nothing to do with family time in a cozy living room and a lovely tree, it has to do with the shirt* I am wearing (below). I bought it for Glen as a secret surprise. I brought it downstairs for him on tree-putting-up-day. He looked disgusted. I said, camon. He looked more disgusted. I said, for today, at least. He said, "I will NEVER wear that shirt."
Which is when I vowed to wear it to every Christmas party. Forever.
The only exception - the Zolbrod party. That is when Emma and I sneaked the shirt to the Zolbrod's ahead of time, so that Koji could wear the shirt for their party. When we arrived, he had it on. Made me very happy. He got loads of shirt compliments. The shirt took the glory away from Koji's ham, even. Made me happier.

*The shirt is blessed with tiny adorable Santas everywhere. NOT pizzas. SANTAS. Obviously.
