"no want beach" - Savvy escorted away from the wind and sand

The big Scottish Swimming AGM weekend in Carnousite wasn’t quite the success story we were hoping for. The test was high for passing Proposal A1 and we needed 75% “for”. Unfortunately we were a handful of blue votes short and the pink slips scuppered the day. Luckily we won on some key practical points, including our fee increases. Despite losing out on the freedom to make some key modernising moves, the team did well with their presentations, and the awards dinner was a success.

Savvy slept at the restaurant through dinner with the Board on Friday, and we had a baby sitter for Saturday night so MegaDob was out both nights and in fine kilted form too. MD also managed to hit the golf course on the sat aft when a knackered mommy took Savage on a slooooooooow walk to the beach.

Sunday was a day to relax, more time in the pool and beach before a stealth trip to the golden arches. Savvy woke early in the mid quarter pounder experience. Alas, she has had her first macdonalds fry…perhaps a bi-annual occasion then.

Another 364 days until the next AGM!
