Despite a pumpkin shortage and an uncooperative Scrappy-Do, Halloween 2008 in Kendal was a hit. The 92 year old witch known as Grandma Green swept in for the party while nieces and nephews tore up Scalthwaiterigg with egg and spoon races, tag, and a ghost tour. The graveyard monsters failed to scare the older kids, but wee Charlie certainly needed a nappy change after a visit to the haunted car. Happy Birthday Jessie.
