The kids made a pin hole camera for the big event. Glen enforced mandatory viewing for everyone each minute.
We couldn't hit Portland for the real view as we're not visiting the US during the current "President's" tenure.
Glen's insisting we go to Texas for the next big one.

Lake Cowichan - Christopher's Rock

A beautiful scramble to Christopher's Rock, right out of Youbou.

 I forgot North and South, so MegaDob fashioned me some awesome walking sticks.

Lake Cowichan - Pine Point Mornings

About 15 min past Youbou on Lake Cowichan, we found a site at Pine Point, no wifi, no running water, right on the lake (yellow tent). 

Mac and I woke a couple hours ahead of Dob and Sav, so we spent our mornings on/in the water with Nessie, the paddleboard.

 












Glen and Sav would wake and join us before pancakes.
