So happy we followed the lonely planet's advice on a gem of a b&b in La Fortuna, one that was in our budget but also featured a pool. Such a great way to chill after travelling, mountain biking and hiking in the mornings.
An aside, another milestone Mac reached before we left Victoria-- Dob took him to the bank to deposit his pocket money and for the first time, he left understanding he had stored the money for himself at a later time, and hadn't been ripped off.
