France with Beast 1- Paris

Four days in Paris.
We left banked.
We right banked.
We cafe-ed and boulangerie-ed.
Savvy was a champ each and every day.

 We hunchbacked

We Saint Chappelle-ed

We Musée d'Orsay-ed and played "most favourite and least favourite" in every room.

The more I think it over, the more I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.
-Vincent van Gogh, painter (30 Mar 1853-1890)

We Rodin-ed

Of course, we Eiffel-ed, marching to the top and enjoying the views.

Oh I love a good jardin. We Luxembourg-ed and rested our tired legs for a couple of hours with a picnic. The sun came out. It was glorious.

Yes, we Louvre-ed (and just in time too)!

Most of the time, we Velibe-ed around Paris:

But for the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, we metro-ed to the base of Montmartre before hiking the hill.

We digested the day in the evenings (omg, Savvy is writing in a journal!)

And then, whamo, it was over, and we were off to Normandy.
