A Perfect Run

It was a while ago now, but for the record, Sav and I cycled from her orthodontist (not many of you will be surprised to know she has one (an orthodontist, that is)...shark teeth...) all the way to her school, through some 10 plus traffic lights, and we had green all the way.

ALL. THE. WAY.

At about the 4th light, we both knew something special was happening and even though she's only 7, she knew not to speak of it until it was over.

Even after the last light, we just let it all sink in. And then when we pulled into her school bike rack, we let the RUSH of it pour over us.

In the mundane, daily routines of life, it's sometimes nice to have a few surprises.
