I went to the pool with Mac and we played "pirate water basketball".
Mac asked me if there are women pirates.
It felt strange defending a woman's right to steal treasure, but I did it anyway and went on to carefully discuss equal rights. That morphed into a wee chat on books and covers and judging and right and wrong and....
Then poor Mac said: so are there swimming pirates, yes or no?
