13 Years of Marriage and TWENTY years since we met

Almost a month ago now, Dob and I celebrated our 13th. But indeed, 20 years ago is when we first met and started dating back in Birkbeck Court, Glasgow.  Go us!

Women Pirates

I went to the pool with Mac and we played "pirate water basketball". 
Mac asked me if there are women pirates.

It felt strange defending a woman's right to steal treasure, but I did it anyway and went on to carefully discuss equal rights. That morphed into a wee chat on books and covers and judging and right and wrong and.... 

Then poor Mac said: so are there swimming pirates, yes or no?

More Summer Fun

Yesterday's the first day in some 6 weeks that I had to put on a long sleeve shirt. It was only for about 30 minutes. Mac just seems to stick to underpants.

Reika turns 4!

Mac and Reika had a ton of time together and became a bit like husband and wife - deep love but a bit of bickering too. Reika doesn't speak a lick of English so pretty neat that they could communicate easy peasy.

The scoot bike face plant

I can write about it now since it was over a week ago and his face has recovered. Turned a corner on his scoot bike, on gravel, endo-ed at speed, and hit every part of his face that the helmet was not able to protect. He looked like a duck for a few days and still has some raspberries on his chin, but otherwise, same wee monkey as always.
