The Halloween Epic

The school disco night - make up by Amy. Apparently the kids were spooked by the music, noise and all the masks, but let loose once they realised they had spending money for sweets!

The brave Pamela hosts a spooky party for 12 munchkins.
And this is all before tomorrow's Guising!

Pic from the lovely Markus from last Friday

Showing off my new ring:)

The Forest Party

Team Tipping and Team Roberts were up early to prepare the Halloweeny forest.  This is after Glen had been up to hide some decorations and wood for our fires in the two days before.  Easier than a house party but still some preparation required.
 Up up up we went

Team S on a floor of leaves.  Gutted this one is a bit blurry.

We have arrived! Sav in the lead, wearing her yellow vest to show she is a helper.

Mac chuffed to be included.

Let the roasting begin!
 Bread on a stick.  Classic.
 Best costume from Josh.
 The beautiful Moira and Emie.
Cook for the day - potato wedges and sausage rolls. Sadly our burger/bread rolls didn't quite work.
The forest designer and chef's assistant.
 Toasty by the fire.

Skeleton at the start of the spooky walk.

Spider cave during part of the spooky walk.
Spider cave became toddler nap station.
I am watching out for you!
A taste of what is to come on Wednesday - Mega is Luke and Mac is Yoda.

Goodbye Glasgow

First Dob and I had a night out with my amazing work colleagues. There were poems, jewellery, and yes, there were cocktails.  Glen was particularly rough the next day, but not as ill as our FM.
Maureen thanked Glen for all he's done for the family during my time at Scottish Swimming and I have to agree.  He's covered so many trips, early morning and late nights.  And so supportive throughout.  Superstar.

We left the hotel in the morning -quick trip to the shops for Glen's ski trousers- and off to the new Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome for its opening charity show.  Thank goodness for Amy and Auntie Andrea who made the whole thing possible.
The track was lovely and the racing fabulous.
 Hello Mr. Hoy!
This is when they turned on the Jaws theme tune.
Back home to prepare for Savvy's goodbye party.

Potatoes

I said: Eat your potatoes.
Sav said: They are not potatoes.
I siad: What are they then?
She said: They are mashed potatoes....which....have....not been mashed yet.

One of these things is not like the other

We won't leave without him though!

Colouring in on the Tablet

 Tinkerbell (obviously)
A pic of Sav that Dad took and adjusted for colouring in - specifically so that Savvy could draw us the kind of shoes she is expecting Santa to bring her to go with her outfit (current shoes are "rubbish"...and they "ruin the whole look"....etc etc etc).

School Photos - The Cheap Version

Yup, to Sav's dismay we skipped the school school photos and went with the Dob home school photographer instead.

The Amy & Sav After School Bakathon!
