18th best site in the world. Pretty spectacular grounds with grumpy but likeable staff!
Dry and sunny in Windermere:)
Wee Mac found the post camp fire marshmallow sticks to get the leftovers.
Sav was a star on a couple of decent hikes. Wet feet.
Homebase
Dob brought home some "interesting" facial hair from France. Inspired by the red ferrari they found up in the hills, Glen came home as Magnum. Focus on the lock Thomas!
The water park was part of a fresh river running through. Savvy LOVED it. No adults allowed and lots of wild kids making up the rules (hence our name: Lord of the Flies). Parents pretended to "keep an eye" on their munchkins, but really we were doing our own thing, all just hoping those swimming lessons were kicking in with a scrap of manners too.
Sadly, Shadow Fax was well messed up. No riding despite lugging the bikes on a lovely tour.
We ate well. BBQ salmon, burgers, sausage and veg. Maybe a small small touch of chocolate (enter the largest bar of Toblerone I have ever seen from les Alps!). Plus grape skewers by Sav.

Ash you don't know "a small touch of chocolate". Great pics of your seasonal holiday in the LAKES.
