Welcome to Playa Flamingo

With only a 24 hour window to book a holiday after we realised the France trip was gone forever, we ended up in the only place that had a plane departing from Scotland in time to fit with Glen's time off work - an all inclusive in Playa Flamingo, Lanzarote, "Spain".

We were pleasantly surprised.
The resort had 1 star accommodation and 2 star food but had 5 star activities for kids, 5 star snorkeling, and 5 star sunshine. While the buffet was blah, there were four key hits. And it turns out you can live quite happily for 7 nights on fresh fish, delicious fruit, all-you-can eat ice cream, and quality beer.
