S: Light off.

MD: This is "off", when it's darker, the light is off.
S: Light NO OFF.

MD: ok, so the light should be ON?
S: Light ON. Light ON. Light ON.

MD: ok, the light is ON.
S: No. No. No. [Sob. lie on floor. Sob. Roll around in disgust.]
