Let's go 15! We streamed all of her games and Savvy played so well. Her team placed 4th.

Brothers cheered her on the big screen too. Mac was on the edge of his seat!

Technology has some advantages

Like if you need to ring your husband from one room/floor to another, and ask for a chocolate almond delivery.

Disadvantage... clumsy thumbs and double tap issues that lead to random screenshots.

Cabin Time

 Loads of lake time and river+ forest time too. No shortage of flying tent and fishing time.

And a lot of to and from with Brentwood College for volleyball for Beast 1.

Camp Thunderbird for the Win

We sure missed him for the week, but we are so happy Mac had a blast at sleep away camp. He came back with major archery and rock climbing accomplishments, tons of teambuilding stories, camp songs galore, and a lot of great friends/memories.

Baby Louie

 Savvy took care of Baby Louie and DanDan for a few nights. Louie was very home sick.

When the depression resulting in home sickness is just too much. And you couldn't possibly make it to the top of the steps after a walk. You just give up, surrender to the darkness and sink into the steps.

This was a walk during which Savvy had to sing to Louie to cheer him on and get him through, "You can do it, who's a good dog? Give me an "L"...".

A walk during which the neighbours came off the porch down to the road to say, 

"Ah, taking care of Louie. It takes a village."

We don't see her a lot...

...because since she finished Grade 9 with a SMASH, she's been training for volleyball.

Home tonight and then off for two days on Saturday. We miss you Beast 1!

It was so sad a couple of years ago - messy rocky debris and dirt, the aftermath from construction.

Now.... new tress are coming along and the wild flowers are lovely!
