Merry Christmas 2017!
Merry Christmas to friends and family, all around planet Earth. Special love to Team Dobson, Team Tipping, Team Green, Team Vertefeuille and Team Japan. xx
Deck those halls with bells of hole, as Mac, I mean BB8, likes to say!
Welcome to the Rock, Nana!
The new digs are beautiful and coming along nicely.
Great to explore the local coffee shops and stroll to the amazing beach too.

Scout
NO KIDS!
Yes, we are in high school again, at the annual Team Z Christmas bash, armed with a plastic jug of juice, now filled with vodka. At least we wrote "NO KIDS" on the outside. #goodmom points there, i reckon,
Mega looking dashing in his Scottish-Star-Wars-Christmas attire.

Christmas Decorations 2017
Not a bad outcome for our first crack at clay decorations, I'd say.
Of course, mr kiss ass (below) with his "genius, clever, amazing" collection-- Snowman, R2D2 and Rudolf-- stole the show with the instructors fawning over him, offering him lavish praise over his artistic talents (barf...we've heard enough of this already at tennis lessons).

We are starting to get in the Christmas Cheer!
Man Child
This is my husband. My Star Wars t-shirt wearing, chocolate eating, toy building husband. Yes, that's a glass of milk.
Don't ever grow up Glen. I love you!
Shark and Ty!
A wee update on Sav
Savannah continues to be a very thoughtful, deep thinker.
One of Sav's big passions right now is soccer. She loves that Glen is her coach and the Jawbreakers are having a good, fun season. Glen's super impressed with how hard Sav works and she's a great goal scorer for the team. Apparently she can run very well with the ball (I don't get to see this; I am with Mac at soccer across town.) Go Sav!
Under duress, Savannah plays basketball twice a week. She plays with all of her mates from school and softball and has great coaches. So far, the whistles and squeaky shoes and chaos on the floor haven't really called out to Sav. But we'll just force things for the rest of the season and see how we go:)
Savannah has chosen cello for the strings program at school...not sure she's pleased with her choice as she lugs it to school and back twice a week. Her school also has an awesome choir program; we're looking forward to the Christmas concert.
She likes to build things with her dad. Traffic lights below. She's a bit of a giant, our Beast #1. Her feet have stretched past mine and now -for at least a brief time- we can share shoes.
We are lucky enough to be taking care of Team V's Scout for a couple of months and Sav is in cat heaven. She's a very loving and responsible Auntie to wee, cheeky Scout.
I think there is no one in Team Roberts, or in Oak Bay, or in the world, who is more excited about the Christmas holidays and a break from school than Sav.
A wee update on Mac
Mac is a wee gem. He's in grade 1 and recently got moved to French Immersion (yay!) and comes home chatting away in Franglais. He's made some great pals at Willows and is a lovely social guy. Mac loves to swim and is thriving on the soccer field. His favourite places these days are anywhere there is lego, and the trampoline.
Yes, the lad is still lego mad. He came to me in a panic and said I need you to watch something veeeeeery special, veeeeeeeery carefully. I was in the bath, babysitting lego so Mac could go jump on the trampoline.
He's still into the blocks. He plays piano (kind of). Underwear optional.
Mac is growing up pretty quickly. Here he is admiring his mo-hawk in the mirror while Sav and I read. And below, all styled for school.
He's not so mature yet that he won't let his big sister dress him up.
Growing up. Yet, he's not quite there on the cutlery front.
