2.5Km is the new mile in the pool

Hooray for Marie, Rachel and I. Swimathon weekend was a success. We swam our 2.5km in just under an hour and raised some decent coin along the way for Marie Curie: http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/.
Will we keep up our swimming?  Maybe if we're mad enough to sign up for this: http://www.greatswim.org/Events/British-Gas-Great-Scottish-Swim/

A wee race - top gear style

Mac was loving the Top Gear style race:  Mac and I (counter clockwise) vs Glen and Sav (clockwise) round the Uni Loch.  Post rain storm so a bit muddy.  Here we are - defeated but still smiling.

Svengali - Date Night

Last night was date night in Glasgow for MegaDob and I.  Although we have our own magician at home, we decided to go pro with Derren Brown (the Svengali show).  Brown had Glen clucking on stage.  Pretty impressive.   Here we are back in our seats with Glen's signature date night sweetie in mouth (the "dib dab").

The Bridge of Allan Ball III

The Bridge of Allan Ball was a, yet again, a royal delight.  The inaugural event was a slightly more intoxicated affair it being my first night out after having had Savvy.

This year's Ball saw the crowd move upscale with black tie traditional dress, fewer cocktails, and many many more jujubes.

And then there was the after party.  Oh dear.

Morning in Dunblane... Afternoon in Stirling

All looking a bit suspicious at the Beech Tree Cafe.
Sunny when we left.  Snowing at the park.

To the castle
Savvy, Queen of Scots.  On her mobile organising the next hunt and royal feast.
More calls to make from her throne.  Arranging Mac's beheading, no doubt.
Finished off the aft at the Settle Inn, the oldest pub in Stirling.  We were missing the rest of Ty's clan who were delayed in Canada. The boys had an extra pint in their honour.  And now we know they have arrived safely at their whiskey school.

Posh Party for a Princess

Savvy was distraught when it clicked: party at the farm means no posh frock. So to stop the tears, we had to promise to have a dress up dinner.  Savvy chose my hooker dress (thanks Sav), and she had on one of her Bday specials + rainbow hair from Amy.

The Farm - Fabulous Five

 Morning excitement
On the Farm jumping pillows... at last

Cute wee lad riding the bday girl's party coat tails...plus a couple of trucks and deer

Oy - it's been a bit much. Quiet time.
 Teamwork!

The troupes at large - over 30 kids, 6 of 'em party kids turning the big 5.

Happy Birthday Princess ButterCup - Enjoy New York

Wish we were really there with you.  Much love from Scotland. xxxx

There's something special about five

Sav on her new trunk suitcase and a pile of loot

The boy gets a sneaky cheeky party balloon too

Amy joins in on the pizza party. Sav wanted smartie pizza...

Check out those elbow scrapes. She's got the hands and knees to match.  Front wheel wash out.

Where to start...where to start...

Happy girl.  Farm party with pals on Saturday.
