AGM and Awards Dinner 2010
Back from Carnoustie after a successful AGM and awards dinner. Many worthy volunteers, coaches and athletes from accross the disciplines were in attendance. However, the top award recipient was Savvy who was a charmer (almost) the whole weekend. Along with good results in entertaining guests at the bar and restaurant alike, her highlight performances come from the pool - Best Kicker, Top Yoga-On-Poolsider, and winner of the famous "I Tired While Swimming" trophy.
In other news, MegaDob managed his annual game of golf and pulled off a good game despite the "overtraining" and baltic temperatures. New event format for next year...we'll miss our lovely suite.

North Shore Bridge in Action
Despite Savvy's full commitment to building the bridge and using it as a train/play park in the kitchen, there was little interest in it for its installation phase. Why play on a bridge when the stream is frozen and you can hammer away at the ice upon which you are standing?

Go TC!
Go Team Canada!
Delighted that Vancouver hosted the Games in honour of my Birthday. Nonno and Nonna were up for the party. I love my new Five Tens+flats, and the KSi900 seat post is an absolute dream. We're busy cheering for the Canadians and for the British (They are mostly Scottish) curlers and skaters. Thank you everyone for the gifts and well wishes, and to N&N for all the Sav-sitting and spoiling!

The Beauty of the Bain, the Baño, the バス
After 23 years of ticking along, our combi boiler stopped producing hot water. That was in November. Finally, after much deliberation, after many 30 second showers, and at considerable expense, we went for it and had the old gal replaced. The new alpha hums along a treat. Quite the change from the ancient dive bombing worcester. The alpha's about 5 feet lower than the old one too, so we might actually get a plumber who's prepared to work on her... on warranty for 3 years, of course. So, swing on by and feel free to take a long hot bath!
Comfy in a Café
This cosmo girl knows the difference between her panini and her toastie. She often contemplates the weather before choosing - park or café. And once nestled into her favourite spot, she loooooooves her hot chocolate.
